About ChainScore
Comprehensive blockchain analytics and scoring platform designed to provide insights into the performance and health of blockchain networks.
Our Mission
ChainScore aims to democratize blockchain analytics by providing comprehensive, real-time insights into blockchain network performance. We believe that transparent, data-driven analysis is crucial for the growth and adoption of blockchain technology. Our platform combines multiple data sources to create a holistic view of each blockchain's ecosystem health, developer activity, user engagement, and financial metrics.
Network Activity
Track transaction volume, active users, network uptime, and block time to understand network performance and user engagement.
Developer Activity
Monitor GitHub contributions, stars, forks, pull requests, and issues to assess developer engagement and project vitality.
DeFi Metrics
Analyze Total Value Locked (TVL), protocol count, ecosystem size, and DeFi adoption to evaluate financial ecosystem health.
Token Health
Evaluate token economics including inflation, market cap, trading volume, and price performance to assess token sustainability.
Security Metrics
Assess network security through validator count, security audits, bug bounty programs, and vulnerability tracking.
Ecosystem Metrics
Track partnerships, integrations, community size, and developer tools to understand ecosystem growth and adoption.

Scoring Methodology
Our scoring system evaluates blockchain networks across 6 key categories, each weighted based on its importance to overall network health and success. Scores range from 0-100, with higher scores indicating better performance.
Network Activity (20%)
- • Transaction count (60% weight)
- • Active users (40% weight)
- • Network uptime
- • Block time
Developer Activity (20%)
- • Active developers
- • GitHub stars
- • GitHub forks
- • Pull requests & issues
DeFi Metrics (20%)
- • Total Value Locked (TVL)
- • Protocol count
- • Ecosystem size
- • DeFi adoption rate
Token Health (15%)
- • Inflation rate
- • Market capitalization
- • Trading volume
- • Price stability
Security Metrics (15%)
- • Validator count
- • Security audits
- • Bug bounty programs
- • Known vulnerabilities
Ecosystem Metrics (10%)
- • Partnership count
- • Integration count
- • Community size
- • Developer tools
How Scores Are Calculated
Each metric is normalized on a logarithmic scale to account for the wide range of values across different blockchain networks. The final score is a weighted average of all available categories, with missing data handled gracefully to ensure fair comparison across networks with varying levels of available information.
